Mark Newton joined the company in 2006 as President of Western Blue. Mark’s background in the reprographics industry spans more than 20 years. He was with Ridgway’s from 1980 until 1994 where he held various positions including National Manager of Facilities Management, Operations Director and GM for Denver, National Quality Director, and Sales Manager for the Houston marketplace. Mark spent 10 years at IKON Office Solutions where he made many notable contributions in his roles as District VP of Business Document Services, VP/GM for the Houston, Texas Marketplace and VP/GM for the Mexico Marketplace. He was the General Manager for the wholesale division of IKON in Orlando, Florida, and Director of Field Sales Operations for the Southern Region. Before joining Western Blue, Mark was Vice President of Sales for Katun Corporation’s North America operation directing sales of parts and supplies for the copier industry. At Katun, Mark developed and implemented a go-to-market Sales strategy for North America.

Bruce Smith joined Western Blue as the Midwest Region Vice President of Sales in January of 2007. Prior to that, Bruce was with Stryker Navigation as the Regional Director of Sales for the Northeast. He also worked as General Manager for EBE in Kansas City and had worked for Danka in various key positions. Bruce has responsibilities for the strategic delivery of the sales goals and objectives for the Midwest Region of ARC which today includes not only Kansas City, but also St. Louis and Wichita.

Matt West joined Western Blue in 1998 after leaving IKON Office Solution’s Legal Copy Division. After helping to create a Legal Copying and Scanning Department, Matt became Production Manager for the recently acquired Document Automation Division, overseeing such projects as the scanning of several major magazines. After a year in Sales, Matt helped develop Western Blue’s first on-line plan room service. Currently Matt is the Midwest Region’s Director of Digital Services in charge of implementation and customer support of ARC’s On-line Document Management product line – PlanWell, BidCaster, and EWO.

Jonathan Barrow has been working in the reprographics industry since 1994. As a Kansas City native, he started out at Western Blue as part of their customer service team and has grown with the company over the years. He now leads our Professional Services team which encompasses IT and service for Western Blue. He is also part of our Regional Senior Staff serving in an advisory role for the Midwest Region of ARC which includes Western Blue, Kansas Blue Print (Wichita), and Metro Digital Imaging (STL).

Diane joined the company in May 2007 as Controller, and since then has expanded her role to also include the accounting for Metro Digital Imaging in St. Louis and Kansas Blue Print in Wichita. Diane graduated from the University of Missouri – KC (1992) with a Bachelor’s in Accounting and earned her MBA with an emphasis in Accounting from Baker College. From 1999 to 2003 she was an Accounting Manager with Corporate Express Office Products, and has spent the past three years with a large printing company in North Kansas City. Her prior accounting background spans 15 years with various manufacturing and distribution companies in the Kansas City area.
